About

Hi, I'm Nicole, the writer behind Flower Crowns and Revolutionaries. I'm a history lover, theatre nerd, and content creator based in Raleigh, NC. I'm a Content Developer and Producer for a company called Relative Scale. I'm also a writer for BroadwayWorld and Next Best Picture and an ambassador for 567 BROADWAY and Fit for Broadway

My Story
  • I grew up in North Carolina and am close to my parents, my little sister Hannah, and my extended family.
  • I graduated from Elon University with a BA in Communications and History and a minor in French.
  • While at Elon, I was involved with the campus newspaper and a comedy sketch show called Elon Tonight. I also was the History Department Student Worker my senior year and was a member of the Honors Fellows program, doing my thesis on the French women who ran salons during the Enlightenment.
  • After graduating, I moved to London to do my Master's in Culture, Policy, and Management at City University.
  • While I was in London, I was a writer for BroadwayWorld UK and an intern at my dream theatre, the Donmar Warehouse, in addition to volunteering at the Charles Dickens Museum.
  • In October 2018, I moved to New York City where I worked as a Client Success Manager for the theatre software company, Spektrix.
  • After eight months in New York, I knew it wasn't right for me and moved back home to North Carolina.
